Laura Devine is a graduate of the University of Iowa and lives in Chicago, Illinois. She has been dreaming up stories since middle school, and is thrilled to share her debut novel, All I Ever Wanted, with readers.
Her love of romantic comedies greatly inspired her writing style, and she hopes readers fall in love with Cassie and Jackson's journey just as much as she did while writing it. All I Ever Wanted is the first book in her Hollywood Hills series, stories about finding love in the spotlight of Los Angeles.
Being an indie author, Laura says, is basically shouting "please read my book" and then crying happy tears when one reader says they loved it. Every reader who picks up her story feels like winning the lottery.
Laura begins dreaming up stories, filling notebooks with the earliest sparks of what would one day become the Hollywood Hills series.
Laura sharpens her craft and her love of storytelling, carrying a lifelong love of romantic comedies into her own voice as a writer.
Now based in Chicago, Illinois, Laura writes contemporary romance inspired by the glamour of Los Angeles and the honesty of real relationships.
